FS2000 - CFS Republic P-47d Thunderbolt.
A repaint of the default CFS P-47d
Thunderbolt aircraft painted in a very weathered Olive
Drab with numerous paint chips, taken from a P-47
photo of an aircraft from the USAF Air Museum
Photo Archives at Wright Patterson AFB, Dayton,
Ohio. The aircraft has the marking J11 on the side
and serial number 42-24964. This aircraft is
from CFS and tested in FS2000. Uses P-47d
Panel. All flight surfaces are moveable,
transparent cockpit, retractable landing gear.

INSTALLATION FOR FS2000:

INSTALLATION: Unzip the file "p47doliv.ZIP"into your "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FS2000\Aircraft" Folder. Your should end up with a folder named "P47d J11 Ollive". Under the folder "P47d J11 Olive", you will have five folders:
GAUGES
MODEL
PANEL
SOUND
TEXTURE

Copy the the file "P47d.gau" from the folder "GAUGES" shown above, to C:\Program files\Microsoft Games\FS2000\GAUGES. If you have already downloaded/copied the P47d.gau" file, and installed it in FS2000, the gauges will already be there in the "GAUGES" folder. Explorer will let you know if it already exists. This Acft will use the default P47d Panel, which is already in the "PANEL" folder. When selecting this aircraft in FS2000 it will read "P-47D USAAF J11 Olive". INSTALLATION FOR CFS:

INSTALLATION: Unzip the file "p47doliv.ZIP"into your "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Combat Flight Simulator\Aircraft" Folder. Your should end up with a folder named "P47d J11 Olive". Under the folder "P47d J11 Olive", you will have five folders:
GAUGES
MODEL
PANEL
SOUND
TEXTURE

You can ignore the folder "gauges", as the gauge "P47d.gau" will already be in the CFS "GAUGES" folder. This Acft will use the default P47d Panel. You must copy all of the sound files in the default "P47d" sound Folder into the "SOUND" folder of your new aircraft "P-47d AAF OD". It will tell you that "SOUND.CFG" already exists, do you want to overwrite it. Select "YES" and copy over the "SOUND.CFG" file. When selecting this aircraft in Combat Flight Simulator it will read "P-47D USAAF J11 Olive". If you have any problems with this aircraft, e-mail me at the address below.

You can also search for all of my aircraft under "Bongiovanni" to determine if you want to use any of my Military version aircraft in CFS2
